Commercial Salting, Sanding, and De-icing Services
Salting
We typically use treated and untreated rock salt on parking lots and sidewalks during and after snow and ice events because it is the most effective and economical product at getting rid of ice and snow. Rock salt is preferred over sand at retail and commercial properties because it eliminates the mess of tracking in sand.
Sanding
Our sand/salt mix does have some de-icing capabilities, but it is typically used for immediate traction on parking lots after ice pack has already formed.
Liquid de-icing
Our liquid de-icing service is used as a pre-treatment before ice and snow events. Liquid de-icing allows for immediate effectiveness compared to other de-icing products and eliminates any tracking of sand or rock salt into your buildings.
